Shantabaa Medical College & General Hospital Amreli

Shantabaa Medical College & General Hospital Amreli is a medical college and hospital located in Amreli, a city in the Saurashtra region of Gujarat, India. The college was established in 2017 by the Gajera Trust, a charitable organization founded by industrialist Vasant Gajera, who is also the president of the college. The college is named after Shantabaa Haribhai Gajera, the mother of Vasant Gajera. The college is affiliated to Saurashtra University and is recognized by the Medical Council of India. The college offers undergraduate courses in Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS), nursing and para-medical courses. The college has an intake capacity of 150 students for MBBS courses, of which 85% seats are reserved for state quota and 15% seats are for national counselling. The college also has a well-equipped general hospital with 300 beds, which provides quality health care services to the people of Amreli and nearby districts. The hospital has various departments such as medicine, surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics, orthopedics, ophthalmology, ENT, radiology, pathology, microbiology, biochemistry and pharmacology.
