It was established in 202 by the Government of Punjab in partnership with a private trust to provide medical education and healthcare services to the people of the Doaba region. The college is affiliated to Baba Farid University of Health Sciences and recognised by the National Medical Commission³. The college offers undergraduate courses in MBBS with an intake of 150 students per year⁴. The college has an attached hospital with 650 beds, 15 operation theatres, ICU, NICU, PICU, blood bank, dialysis unit, CT scan, MRI and other modern facilities.
