Pravara Rural Engineering College

**Pravara Rural Engineering College (PREC)** is a private engineering college located in Loni, Maharashtra¹. It was established in 1983² and is affiliated to the University of Pune³. The college is recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi³.

PREC offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the discipline of Engineering². The undergraduate programs include Bachelor of Engineering (BE) with 9 specializations². The postgraduate programs include Master of Engineering (ME) with 7 specializations². The college also offers a Ph.D. course in Mechanical Engineering².

Admission to these courses is based on the marks or rank secured by the candidate in the MHT-CET exam or JEE mains exam². To be eligible for the admissions, a candidate must score a minimum of 50% in his 10+2 board examination in the Science stream².

The college was entitled the “Leading Engineering College in Maharashtra” in 2022 by the Governor of Maharashtra².
