Pillai College of Engineering

Pillai College of Engineering (PCE), established in 1999¹, is a renowned engineering college located in Mumbai, Maharashtra¹. It is managed by the Mahatma Education Society² and has been awarded an A+ grade by NAAC¹.

PCE is approved by AICTE, recognized by the Government of Maharashtra, and is affiliated to the University of Mumbai¹. The University Grants Commission, New Delhi, has granted Autonomous Status to PCE from the academic year 2021-22².

The college offers a variety of programs at the undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral levels². The undergraduate programs include Bachelor's degrees in Automobile Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics & Computer Science, EXTC Engineering, Information Technology, and Mechanical Engineering². The postgraduate programs include Master's degrees in Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, and Mechanical Engineering (CAD / CAM & Robotics and Thermal Engineering)². The college also offers Ph.D. programs in Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering².

PCE is known for its interdisciplinary centers for excellence, infrastructure, value-added courses, job-oriented training programs, project-based learning, maker spaces, and the Festival of Joy- ALEGRIA². Four departments of PCE, namely Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, and Mechanical Engineering, were accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) for 3 years from 2008.
