Nootan Medical College and Research Centre, Mehsana

Nootan Medical College and Research Centre, Mehsana is a relatively new medical college and hospital established in 2019 by the Nootan Sarva Vidyalaya Kelavani Mandal, a charitable trust founded by Shri Sankalchand Patel, a freedom fighter and social reformer. The college is affiliated to Sankalchand Patel University and recognized by the National Medical Commission. The college offers undergraduate course in Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) with an annual intake of 150 students. The admission to the college is based on the score obtained in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). The college has a spacious campus of 43.66 acres with modern infrastructure and facilities such as library, computer lab, hostel, auditorium, sports complex, etc. The college has a well-qualified and experienced faculty who are dedicated to teaching and research. The college also has a state-of-the-art hospital with 300 beds, which provides quality health care services to the people of Mehsana and nearby districts. The hospital has various departments such as medicine, surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics, orthopedics, ophthalmology, ENT, radiology, pathology, microbiology, biochemistry and pharmacology. The hospital also has a blood bank, an ICU, a NICU, a dialysis unit, a CT scan and an MRI facility. The college and hospital aim to achieve the vision of the Nootan Sarva Vidyalaya Kelavani Mandal, which is to create a positive impact on society through education, health care and research.
