National Institute of Agricultural Extension Management

MANAGE is an autonomous institute established by the Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, Government of India in 1987. It is located in Hyderabad, Telangana, and has a sprawling campus of 17 hectares with modern facilities and infrastructure. MANAGE aims to enhance the managerial and technical skills of extension officers, managers, scientists and administrators in the agricultural sector, and to empower farmers and fishermen for practicing sustainable agriculture. MANAGE offers various services such as management training, consultancy, management education, research and information services to its clients and stakeholders. MANAGE also plays a pivotal role in implementing various schemes and programs of the central and state governments related to agricultural extension and agribusiness development.

MANAGE has four academic wings: Centre for Agricultural Extension Innovations, Reforms and Agripreneurship (CAEIRA), Centre for Agricultural Extension Policy, Public Private Partnership and International Cooperation (CAEPPIC), Centre for Knowledge Management, ICT and Mass Media in Agriculture (CKMIM) and Centre for Gender in Agriculture, Nutrition and Health (CGANH). These centres offer various diploma, certificate and short-term courses in agricultural extension and management. MANAGE also has a Post Graduate Diploma in Agri-Business Management (PGDABM), which is a two-year full-time residential program approved by AICTE. The PGDABM program aims to develop competent agribusiness professionals who can contribute to the growth and development of the agribusiness sector in India and abroad.
