Mari State University

Mari State University (MarSU) is a Russian university located in Yoshkar-Ola, the capital of the Mari El Republic, established in 1972¹. It is one of the rapidly growing classical universities of the Mari El Republic, and a major educational, scientific and cultural center of Russia². It is recognized by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation¹, and accredited by the National Medical Commission (NMC) and the World Health Organization (WHO).

MarSU offers various programs in Medicine, Engineering, Humanities, Natural Sciences, Economics, Law, and Education². The medical degree is designed to meet the expectations of the General Medical Council¹. The faculty offers a six-year program in Medicine, a five-year program in Dentistry, and a five-year program in Pharmacy¹.
