MIMER is a reputed Medical College and Hospital located in Talegaon Dabhade, Pune. It currently offers MBBS and MD/MS programs to eligible candidates in various disciplines of medicine and surgery. The current intake for the MBBS program is 150 seats. All programs offered by the institute are recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI).
It was established in 1995 by MAEER’s (Maharashtra Academy of Engineering Education and Research) MIT Pune. Maharashtra Institute of Medical Education and Research was originally affiliated to the University of Pune, but it is now under Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik.
- Candidates meeting the requisite eligibility criteria for the MBBS program may apply through NEET UG only.
- Candidates seeking admission to MS/ MD courses can apply through NEET PG by visiting the respective Board’s website.
- Only online mode of application is allowed for both UG and PG courses. Payment of application fee can be made through online payment modes only.
- Candidates seeking admission to MBBS course must pass 10+2 with English as a mandatory subject and secure at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/ Biotechnology combined.
- MD/ MS aspirants must mandatorily possess an MBBS degree to be eligible.
- MBBS candidates are selected based on marks obtained in NEET UG.
- MS/ MD candidates are selected based on score obtained in NEET PG.
- Candidates are allotted seats as per NEET counselling process.
