M. M. Institute of Medical Sciences & Research (MMIMSR) is a private medical college and hospital located in Mullana, Ambala, Haryana. It was established in the year 2003 by the Maharishi Markandeshwar Education Trust, which is a charitable trust that aims to provide quality education and health care to the society¹. The college is a constituent unit of Maharishi Markandeshwar (Deemed to be University), which is a NAAC accredited Grade A++ university².

MMIMSR offers an undergraduate course in Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) with an intake capacity of 150 students per year. The duration of the course is four and a half years followed by a compulsory one-year rotating internship. The admission to the MBBS course is based on the merit rank obtained in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG) conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA)³.

MMIMSR also offers postgraduate courses in Doctor of Medicine (MD) and Master of Surgery (MS) in 19 specializations such as Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Pathology, Microbiology, Pharmacology, Forensic Medicine, Community Medicine, General Medicine, Pediatrics, Dermatology, Psychiatry, Respiratory Medicine, General Surgery, Orthopedics, Ophthalmology, ENT, Obstetrics & Gynecology, and Anesthesiology. The admission to the MD and MS courses is based on the merit rank obtained in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-PG) conducted by the NTA³.

MMIMSR is affiliated with Maharishi Markandeshwar University and approved by the National Medical Commission (NMC) formerly known as Medical Council of India (MCI). The college has a well-equipped campus with modern facilities such as lecture halls, laboratories, library, auditorium, hostel, mess, sports complex, gymnasium, and transport. The college also has a 940-bedded multi-specialty hospital attached to it, which provides clinical training and exposure to the students as well as serves the health care needs of the rural population⁴.

MMIMSR aims to impart quality medical education and training to the aspiring doctors and to produce competent and compassionate professionals who can contribute to the advancement of medical science and health care. The college has a dedicated and experienced faculty who guide and mentor the students throughout their academic journey. The college also organizes various academic and extracurricular activities such as seminars, workshops, conferences, cultural events, sports meets, and social service camps to enhance the overall development of the students.
