Lakhimpur Medical College & Hospital

Lakhimpur Medical College & Hospital (LMCH) is a state-funded medical college and hospital located in North Lakhimpur, Assam, India. It started functioning from 1 October 2021 as the 8th medical college of the state. The college is affiliated to Srimanta Sankardeva University of Health Sciences and recognized by the National Medical Commission. The college offers undergraduate course in Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) with an annual intake of 100 students. The admission to the college is based on the score obtained in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
The college has a modern campus with state-of-the-art infrastructure and facilities such as library, computer lab, hostel, auditorium, sports complex, etc. The college also has a state-of-the-art hospital with 500 beds, which provides quality health care services to the patients and clinical training to the students. The hospital has various departments such as medicine, surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics, orthopedics, ophthalmology, ENT, radiology, pathology, microbiology, biochemistry and pharmacology. The hospital also has a blood bank, an ICU, a NICU, a dialysis unit, a CT scan and an MRI facility.
