L.N. Medical College and Research Centre

LN Medical College and Research Center (LNMCRC) is a private medical college located in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. It was established in the year 2009 by the LNCT Group of Colleges, which is one of the largest and oldest educational groups in central India1. The college is affiliated with LNCT University, Bhopal, and approved by the National Medical Commission (NMC) formerly known as Medical Council of India (MCI)2.

LNMCRC offers an undergraduate course in Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) with an intake capacity of 250 students per year. The duration of the course is four and a half years followed by a compulsory one-year rotating internship. The admission to the MBBS course is based on the merit rank obtained in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG) conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA)3.

LNMCRC also offers postgraduate courses in Doctor of Medicine (MD) and Master of Surgery (MS) in various specializations such as Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Pathology, Microbiology, Pharmacology, Forensic Medicine, Community Medicine, General Medicine, Pediatrics, Dermatology, Psychiatry, Respiratory Medicine, General Surgery, Orthopedics, Ophthalmology, ENT, Obstetrics & Gynecology, and Anesthesiology. The admission to the MD and MS courses is based on the merit rank obtained in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-PG) conducted by the NTA3.

LNMCRC has a sprawling campus with state-of-the-art infrastructure and facilities such as lecture halls, laboratories, library, auditorium, hostel, mess, sports complex, gymnasium, and transport. The campus also has a 750-bedded multi-specialty hospital attached to it, which provides clinical training and exposure to the students as well as serves the health care needs of the urban and rural population4.

LNMCRC aims to impart quality medical education and training to the aspiring doctors and to produce competent and compassionate professionals who can contribute to the advancement of medical science and health care. The college has a dedicated and experienced faculty who guide and mentor the students throughout their academic journey. The college also organizes various academic and extracurricular activities such as seminars, workshops, conferences, cultural events, sports meets, and social service camps to enhance the overall development of the students.
