Kazakh National Medical University

Kazakh National Medical University, also known as KazNMU, is a public university in Almaty, Kazakhstan. It was founded in 1931 by S.D. Asfendiyarov, who became its first rector. It is the oldest and one of the largest medical universities in the country, with more than 11,000 students and 1,500 faculty members.

KazNMU offers a variety of academic programs in the fields of medicine, pharmacy, dentistry, public health, and biotechnology. It has six faculties, eight bachelor's degree specialties, seven master's degree specialties, five internship specialties, and 31 residency specialties.
