K. J. Somaiya College of Engineering

K. J. Somaiya College of Engineering (KJSCE) is a private engineering college located in Mumbai, Maharashtra. It was established in 1983 under the Somaiya Vidyavihar University, which is a self-financed private university approved by UGC¹². KJSCE is accredited by NAAC with a 'B++' grade and ranked among the top engineering colleges in India by various surveys and magazines¹²³.

KJSCE offers undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programs in various disciplines of engineering, such as computer science, electronics, mechanical, information technology, etc. The admission to these programs is based on national or state level entrance exams such as JEE Main, MHT-CET, GATE, etc. KJSCE has a well-qualified and experienced faculty who are experts in their respective fields and use innovative teaching methods and tools. KJSCE also has state-of-the-art infrastructure and facilities such as spacious classrooms, well-equipped laboratories, digital library, computer center, auditorium, sports complex, hostel, cafeteria, etc¹².

KJSCE has a strong industry-institute interaction and provides students with various opportunities for learning and development. KJSCE has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the University of Nottingham, Malaysia for academic collaboration and student exchange programs. KJSCE also organizes various events and activities such as workshops, seminars, guest lectures, industrial visits, internships, projects, competitions, cultural and sports festivals, etc. KJSCE also has an active placement cell that helps students in getting placed in reputed companies such as Infosys, Tech Mahindra, IBM, TATA Consultancy Services, Wipro, Cognizant, etc¹².
