Jawaharlal Nehru Institute of Medical Sciences, Imphal is a state-funded medical college and hospital located in Porompat, Imphal East, Manipur. The college was established in 1989 as Jawaharlal Nehru Hospital and later upgraded to a medical college in 2010. The college is affiliated to Manipur University and recognized by the National Medical Commission. The college offers undergraduate courses in MBBS and BDS, and postgraduate courses in MD and MS in various specializations. The admission to these courses is based on the score obtained in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). The college has a total intake capacity of 125 students for MBBS, 50 students for BDS, and 38 students for MD/MS courses.
