The Indian Institute Of Medical Sciences & Research Jalna is a muslim minority college which was established in the year 2013 and is run by a Trust. The college is affiliated to Maharashtra University of Health Sciences and recognized by  National Medical Commission (NMC), India. The Medical College has an annual intake of 100 MBBS seats and 31 seats in 10 Departments Post-Graduate studies.

The College is spread in a huge area with good infrastructure. There are good Classrooms, Lecture halls, Demonstration halls and examination hall.
