CMR Institute of Technology

CMR Institute of Technology (CMRIT) is a private engineering college located in Bangalore, Karnataka, established by the CMR Jnanadhara Trust in 2000. It is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) and approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). It is also accredited by National Board of Accreditation (NBA) and National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with A++ grade.

CMRIT offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs in various disciplines of engineering, management, and science. It has 18 departments offering B.E. programs, 13 departments offering M.Tech programs, and 14 departments offering PhD/M.Sc (Engg.) programs. It also offers MBA and MCA programs under the Department of Management Studies and Research. Some of the popular courses at CMRIT are Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Biotechnology.

CMRIT has a distinguished faculty, with many of them having PhDs and industry experience. The college also has well-equipped laboratories, workshops, libraries, and computing facilities to support the teaching and learning process.
