Amrita Medical College Hospital Faridabad

Amrita Medical College Hospital Faridabad (AMCHF) is a not-for-profit medical college and hospital located in Sector 88, Faridabad, Haryana. It was established in the year 2022 by the Mata Amritanandamayi Math (MAM), a charitable organization inspired by the vision and teachings of Sri Aurobindo and The Mother. The college is affiliated with Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham (Amrita University), a NAAC accredited A grade, multi-campus, multi-disciplinary teaching and research institution¹.

AMCHF offers an undergraduate course in Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) with an intake capacity of 150 students per year. The duration of the course is four and a half years followed by a compulsory one-year rotating internship. The admission to the MBBS course is based on the merit rank obtained in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG) conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA)².

AMCHF also offers postgraduate courses in Doctor of Medicine (MD) and Master of Surgery (MS) in various specializations such as Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Pathology, Microbiology, Pharmacology, Forensic Medicine, Community Medicine, General Medicine, Pediatrics, Dermatology, Psychiatry, Respiratory Medicine, General Surgery, Orthopedics, Ophthalmology, ENT, Obstetrics & Gynecology, and Anesthesiology. The admission to the MD and MS courses is based on the merit rank obtained in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-PG) conducted by the NTA².

AMCHF has a sprawling campus with state-of-the-art infrastructure and facilities such as lecture halls, laboratories, library, auditorium, hostel, mess, sports complex, gymnasium, and transport. The campus also has a 750-bedded multi-specialty hospital attached to it, which provides clinical training and exposure to the students as well as serves the health care needs of the urban and rural population³. The hospital has modern diagnostic and treatment facilities such as 40 Slice multi detector whole body CT Scan, 1.5 tesla MRI Machine, DSA & Mammography Unit along with other Hi-tech investigations facilities. The hospital also has an eye bank and a blood bank with component separation unit⁴.

AMCHF aims to impart quality medical education and training to the aspiring doctors and to produce competent and compassionate professionals who can contribute to the advancement of medical science and health care. The college has a dedicated and experienced faculty who guide and mentor the students throughout their academic journey.
