Alte University

Alte University is a private university in Tbilisi, Georgia, that offers various undergraduate and graduate programs in medicine, law, business, technology, and humanities. It was founded in 2002 as Tbilisi Open University and rebranded in 2021 as Alte University, which means altitude or highest point. The university aims to provide quality education and constant development for its students, who come from 17 different countries. Alte University has four schools: International Medical School, School of Information Technology, School of Law, and School of Humanities and Social Sciences. For example, the tuition fee for the six-year medicine program is $5,000 per year, while the tuition fee for the four-year information technology program is $2,950 per year. The admission process for international students requires a copy of the passport, a high school certificate or a bachelor's degree diploma, an application fee payment receipt, and a video interview². Alte University has two intakes per year: fall and spring.
