Al-Farabi Kazakh National University

Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, also known as KazNU, is a national research university in Almaty, Kazakhstan. It is named after the Eastern philosopher and scholar al-Farabi, who was born in the region. It is one of the largest and oldest universities in the country, with a history dating back to 1934.

KazNU offers a wide range of academic programs at the bachelor's, master's, and doctoral levels, covering various fields of engineering, natural sciences, humanities, social sciences, medical sciences, and economics. It has 17 schools, 134 BA, 268 MA, and 140 PhD educational programs, and more than 20,000 students, post-graduates, and PhD students.

KazNU has a modern and spacious campus, located in one of the most beautiful areas of Almaty, overlooking the mountains of Alatau. The campus consists of 13 education buildings, scientific laboratories, libraries, museums, sports facilities, dormitories, and other amenities.
