University of Verona
The University of Verona is a public institution that was established in 1982 in the city of Verona, Italy. It offers a wide range of academic programmes in various disciplines, such as humanities, social sciences, law, economics, engineering, medicine, and natural sciences. The university has about 22,000 students and 1,500 staff, including lecturers, researchers, and administrative personnel.

It has partnerships with over 300 universities and institutions around the world, and participates in various mobility programmes, such as Erasmus+, Worldwide Study, and Double/Joint Degrees2. The university also hosts international students and researchers, and provides them with support and services through the Welcome Office. Some of the degree programmes are taught entirely or partially in English, such as the Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Economics, the Master’s degree in International Economics and Business Management, and the PhD programme in Economics and Management.
The university aims to promote academic excellence, innovation, and social responsibility. It has been ranked among the best non-private universities in Italy by the Italian business newspaper Il Sole 24 Ore in 2014, 2015, and 20163. It has also been recognized for its quality of research and teaching by national and international agencies, such as ANVUR, QS, and Times Higher Education.
The university is located in Verona, a city of art and culture, famous for its Roman and medieval heritage, its opera festival, and its connection with Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet. The university’s main campus is in the historical centre of the city, near the river Adige and the Roman theatre. The university also has other campuses and facilities in the suburbs of Verona and in the nearby city of Vicenza.
