European University Georgia

European University Georgia (EUG) is a private university in Tbilisi, Georgia, established in 2011. The university has three faculties: Law, Education, Business and Technology; Medicine; and Veterinary Medicine. The university offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs in various disciplines, as well as research and mobility opportunities. EUG is accredited by the National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement of Georgia and recognized by several international organizations and directories.

EUG has a six-year educational program in medicine, which is taught in English and Georgian languages and consists of three stages: basic medical sciences, clinical sciences, and clinical practice. The graduates of the program are awarded a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree and are eligible to take the United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE), the Medical Council of Canada Qualifying Examination (MCCQE), and other international licensing exams.

EUG has a five-year educational program in dentistry, which is taught in Georgian language and consists of theoretical and practical courses in dental sciences, as well as clinical practice in the university's dental clinic. The graduates of the program are awarded a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree and are eligible to take the National Board Dental Examination (NBDE) and other international licensing exams.

EUG has a four-year educational program in pharmacy, which is taught in Georgian language and consists of theoretical and practical courses in pharmaceutical sciences, as well as clinical practice in the university's pharmacy. The graduates of the program are awarded a Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) degree and are eligible to take the Pharmacy Examining Board of Canada (PEBC) and other international licensing exams.

EUG has a two-year master's degree program in public health, which is taught in English language and consists of core and elective courses in public health, as well as a research project and a thesis. The graduates of the program are awarded a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree and are qualified to work as public health professionals, researchers, managers, and educators.

EUG has a three-year doctoral degree program in medical sciences, which is taught in English and Georgian languages and consists of advanced courses in medical sciences, as well as a research project and a dissertation. The graduates of the program are awarded a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree and are capable of conducting independent and original research in various fields of medicine.

EUG has a research department that supports and coordinates the scientific activities of the university, as well as fosters the collaboration and exchange of knowledge with other institutions and organizations. The research department organizes and participates in various national and international conferences, seminars, workshops, and publications. The research department also offers grants and awards for outstanding research projects and publications.
