It was an arduous but gratifying task when we embarked on our journey in the year 2014 to establish a medical college and Super-specialty Hospital at Thodupuzha in Idukki District, after founding an array of educational institutions in the streams of Engineering, Dental, Arts & Science, Law, polytechnic, CBSE schools etc. The road ahead was not so rosy, toiled hard, fought against the odds and waded through the difficult phases to achieve our goals. The journey is still on because we have promises to keep and miles to go…

The college and the Hospital predominantly focus on shaping a new genre of doctors committed to the nation and the people and providing high quality healthcare services and facilities to the common man at affordable charges.

The government of India is bringing various reforms to the medical education system and several innovative ideas and concepts are on the anvil with the aim of producing qualified and competent health professionals. The Competency Based Undergraduate Curriculum introduced by the Medical Council of India is the latest step in this direction. We will be able to witness more innovative initiatives like this in the years to come especially with the advent of National Medical Commission (NMC).
