Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University

Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University (BAMU) is a public university in Aurangabad, Maharashtra, India. It was established in 1958 and named after Dr. B. R. Ambedkar, the chief architect of the Indian Constitution and a champion of social justice¹. The university offers various undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs in arts, science, commerce, technology, computer, business, and other fields. It has more than 410 affiliated colleges spread across four districts of Maharashtra².
